From the POS (Point of Sale) window, open an order ready for payment (example: $72.52),
  • Click on Invoice or press F4,
  • In the CASH amount entry field, enter the amount given by the customer (example: $100),
  • Click the CASH tab ONCE and the amount owned will be displayed on the bottom right field (example $27.48),
  • Once the change has been submitted, click on the CASH tab TWICE to confirm full payment,
  • Click the Print icon to register and print the payment receipt.
Hint: To save paper, if your customer does not need or require a receipt, you can also click on the Green dollars sign icon (Invoice without printing)!

ACDelco Approves GEM-CAR - SMS– For TSS and ACE Members

GEM-CAR offers an easy to use punch clock system, which allows the owner to charge the correct repair time on every invoice.  In addition, GEM-CAR provides a number of professionally designed inspection forms that allows the mechanics to inspect the vehicle properly and record the information so the customer can see what is required on their vehicle. One of the critical functions within GEM-CAR is the use of the “Reminder Letters”.

The Reminder letters are mailed out to the owner of the vehicle. After each mailing, there are follow-up calls made within a few days and on average, 83% of customers have returned to the shop for further work. This has generated up to $ 1,000 in additional labour revenue per month, per tech,” says Worts.
