Updating the tire retail prices by make/brand or model

From the Main Menu, click on Inventory,

From the Inventory Sub-Menu, click on Price by category,
Check the box next to Make/Model,

From the Price calculation method scroll down menu,

Select the baseline price. Example, Rebate % off the list (retail) price,
For each level, enter the rebate or discount percentage (up to 10 levels),
For tires, enter your cost (percentage off list price),
Click on the Green time piece to execute the update,
A new window will appear,

A list of all the tires with the same make and model will appear,

From the list, uncheck, those you do not wish to have updated to the new price level structure,
Click on the Green time piece to execute the update,
Confirm your choice,
Now back on the Price by Category window, EXIT or continue with other changes.

ACDelco Approves GEM-CAR - SMS– For TSS and ACE Members

GEM-CAR offers an easy to use punch clock system, which allows the owner to charge the correct repair time on every invoice. In addition, GEM-CAR provides a number of professionally designed inspection forms that allows the mechanics to inspect the vehicle properly and record the information so the customer can see what is required on their vehicle. One of the critical functions within GEM-CAR is the use of the “Reminder Letters”.

“The Reminder letters are mailed out to the owner of the vehicle. After each mailing, there are follow-up calls made within a few days and on average, 83% of customers have returned to the shop for further work. This has generated up to $ 1,000 in additional labour revenue per month, per tech,” says Worts.

Bob Worts brings a wealth of experience to GEM-CAR, having been in the Automotive After-Market Industry for over 40 years.

His skills comprise of vast ‘hands on’ knowledge in the following areas; Software sales with Carrus Technologies; Senior Management specifically involved with franchising and shop operations for Midas Canada; Director of Purchasing for Prime CarCare Group Inc. across Canada.

The challenge is to develop a distribution network across Canada of dedicated knowledgeable, sales professionals that can represent GEM-CAR to the aftermarket and assist and support the independent installers.

The objective is to find professionals with the experience to mentor and provide assistance to increasing both sales & profits.
