Appointment

Once you have purchased GEM-CAR, we will schedule an appointment for the installation of the software. Installing GEM-CAR and all its prerequisites can take up to 3 hours. This is to be taken into account for your schedule. A welcome e-mail will be sent to you to confirm the date and time of the appointment.

The day of the appointment, a technician will call you to assist you with the installation process. You will find below the steps to follow to prepare for the installation of GEM-CAR. Some tasks are mandatory while others are optional.

Mandatory before the appointment

Update Windows 10

It is important to update Windows 10 on all the computers on which GEM-CAR will be installed before the appointment. This task requires some preparation on your side and can take from a few minutes to several hours.

Have these important information and files on hand

Our technician will also need information and files about your company for the initial configuration of GEM-CAR. The day of the installation, please have on hand :

  • your tax numbers;
  • the login information for all your e-mail accounts that you wish to integrate with GEM-CAR;
  • the login information for all the suppliers’ websites that you wish to integrate with GEM-CAR; and
  • a logo of your company in jpg, png or bpm format.
