Appointment confirmation

GEM-CAR users or your customers can confirm appointments. A checkmark in a green circle on the top left corner of an appointment badge indicates that it has been confirmed. A confirmation also appears on the bottom left corner of the Appointment window.

Manually confirm appointments

To manually confirm an appointment, right-click its badge on the Calendar and select Set as confirmed.

The GEM-CAR user's name and the time since confirmation will appear on the bottom left corner or the Appointment window.

To know the exact confirmation date and time, hover over the number of hours on the bottom left corner or the Appointment window.

Customer appointment confirmation

When you send SMS or e-mail confirmations or reminders to your customers, confirmation links are included in these messages. If customers select these links, appointments are automatically confirmed in the GEM-CAR Calendar. A mention that the customer confirmed the appointment and the date and time since confirmation will appear on the bottom left corner or the Appointment window.

Cancel confirmations

To cancel a confirmation, right-click an appointment badge on the Calendar and select Set as confirmed.
