Usernames and passwords for advisors

Before GEM-CAR version 13.0.2, you had the choice between using a single account for all advisors for a given supplier or using distinct accounts for each of them. If you wanted them to access your suppliers websites with distinct accounts, we needed to add duplicate links to the Point of Sale, one for each advisor. This setup caused duplications and confusion in the suppliers’ list od the Point of Sale and you needed assistance from the technical support team to implement this configuration.

Since GEM-CAR version 13.0.2, you can now configure distinct users for each advisor without the need to add duplicate GEM-LINKs to the Point of sale. You also do not need assistance from the technical support anymore for this configuration. In the Point of Sale, when an advisor clicks on a link to a supplier’s website, he or she is directly logged in with his or her login information.

Follow the steps below to add the login information for advisors.

  1. Access the General information window and select the Internet Resources tab.
