Effective April 15, 2020, the Government of Quebec is amending the list of essential services by adding maintenance and repair activities for all vehicles.
The changes include regular service and repairs such as tire changes and oil changes. Suppliers of products, parts or other equipment required for transportation and logistics services are also affected by this amendment.
Studded tires
The ministère des Transports has announced that the May 1st deadline to remove studded tires is postponed to June 5th in order to help Quebec citizens navigate the situation of COVID-19 in a less stressful way.
