Necessity for customers to always be up to date with the new versions of their accounting system : with a bridge you need to wait the get the approval from the technical department before update your accounting package. It's common that third party bridge isn't ready : release for update don't necessarily follow with their bridge update.
Data transfer is a one way operation, that being from GEM-CAR to your accounting program. This way, transactions added to the program won’t be displayed in the GEM-CAR reports.
For all of theses reasons third party bridge is generally great but comes with issues.
